Keys Energy Services

They are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. They have offices in Key West and Big Pine Key.
New residential customers are required to pay a deposit of $125 and a $15 service charge. Returning customers pay $75 with good payment history. All customers must present a rent receipt, lease agreement or a copy of a deed to begin service. Identification is required.
Business accounts require a two-month deposit based upon electricity usage of the previous tenant, a copy of the lease agreement and identification.

Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority

Customers must pay a monthly base fee of $10. Additional fees (per 1,000 gallons of usage) apply.
1 to 6,000 gallons = $4.10 per 1,000 gallons
6,000 gallons to 12,000 gallons = $6.00 per 1,0000
12,000+ = to $6.75 per 1,000 gallons
Please contact the Florida Keys Auqeduct Authority to confirm these rates, as occassionally fees change.

Recycle

Waste Management

Curbside recycling is part of the standard wast hauling service in the Florida Keys. Residents and businesses can recycle corrugated cardboard, plastics with the #1 or #2 on the bottom, glass (clear, green, brown), aluminum and steel cans, newspapers and household batteries (residents only). Bulk pick-up can be arranged for yard waste, old tires, household appliances or furniture.
