Long-Term Rental Policies

Action Keys Realty is the Property Management Company for many long-term rental homes. All of these homes are privately owned and are located in the Lower Florida Keys, between Key West and Marathon.

Long-term rental properties are homes rented for more than 30 days. Typically, these homes require a 6-month to 1-year lease. These homes, unless otherwise noted, are not furnished and do not include utilities. If you are interested in any of our rental homes, it will be necessary for you to complete a rental application and sign appropriate lease documentation with our office.

Some of the following policies are mandated by our property owners. If you need additional information or if we can help to clarify any of these policies, please send us an email.

Long Term Rental Policies:

1. Tenants must be 18 years or older

2. Have verifiable employment

3. Submit completed application with FEE of $20.00. If approved fee will be credited to rental unit costs.

4. Upon approval, a deposit will be required to hold the unit until check in. If tenant fails to lease unit initial deposit will be forfeited.

5. Upon check in security deposit. Last months rent and rental rent will be collected in-full and held by the property management company in a non-interest bearing account

6. Pet are allowed at Landlord's (home owner's) discretion.

7. Rents are due by the 1st of each and every calendar month and considered late by the 5th of the month. A late fee will be charged on all overdue rent payments.

8. All utilities and ground maintenance will be the responsibility of the tenant unless otherwise noted in lease agreement.
