Step back in time to the days when style and craftsmanship were the order of the day. The simple elegance of this truly remarkable vacation home is evident in handcrafted kitchen cabinets, custom made doors and soaring cedar ceilings that make you and your family feel right at home.
The kitchen area is a chef’s delight to whip up your favorite dishes for your guest enjoyment. The open family style living area is great for all to gather to plan the day’s excursions, enjoy a movie or just sit back and relax. The main floor boosts 4 spacious bedrooms with their own private bath. On the second floor walk around there is a wonderful book library and reading area and private bedroom and bath.
Enjoy the keys tropical breezes and sunsets on the screened porch overlooking the crystal blue canal and heated pool. The pool area is just wonderful with lots of pool toys provided and a nice shaded patio area to relax and sip those great tropical cocktails. Plus plenty of room to dock your boat for great fishing and diving in our local keys waters.
The Sugarloaf location is convenient to Key West, just 17 miles, to enjoy all the rich history and wonderful dining experiences the southernmost city has to offer. The property is perfect for large families or reunions. So come on down, you won’t be disappointed!

28 DAY RULE
Unless otherwise specified, rental periods must be for a minimum of 28 days, in accordance with Monroe County, Florida's vacation rental law.
TAXES
All vacation rentals will be taxed on rent and cleaning fees; State Sales Tax (7.5%) & Monroe County Tourist Development Tax (5%) totaling 12.5% tax.
UTILITIES
All monthly vacation rentals will be charged utilities (water & electric) and cleaning fees in addition to rent.
PET POLICY
If owner accepts the request for pets, there will be a non-refundable pet fee of $150.00 per pet. Pets are required to be on a leash at all times when off property. All pets must have current shots and immunization. Pets must be on a flea prevention treatment prior to rental. All pet feces must be picked up from property prior to exiting property. Pets walked in neighborhood must have all pet feces picked up and disposed of immediately. An additional pet addendum will be added to the rental lease. Please refer to the addendum for additional details.
PAYMENTS
Deposits and subsequent payments are accepted in the form of personal checks. 50% of remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival; full balance must be received 30 days prior to arrival. Please note that rates are subject to change without notice and that seasonal and holiday events may be higher.
CANCELLATIONS
60 days prior to arrival, deposits refunded in full. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival date, a $45.00 administrative fee will be retained.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
Arrival time is 3:00 pm; departure is 11:00 am. Please contact our office 1 week prior to your arrival to confirm specific check-in procedures.
